Hi we have an Allis B tractor and have just noticed the very small bore copper pipe that seem to come out of the governor/magneto block has rotted off at the point above the oil filter on the engine block, on the left hand side of the engine block if you face the front of the tractor. oil was seen to spit out of the pipe as the engine was running , but we do not want to run it until we can replace it , can you tell me what the oil feed is for and can anyone tell me the size of pipe diameter i need to replace it and the copper collets to seal the pipe ends inside the nuts, thanks for any help with this cheers Jim

it is the same copper tube used on many automotive oil pressure gagues. need the tube from engine to the dash gauge. go to NAPA and get a small kit.

the oil line you are talking about takes oil from the line that comes out of the oil pump, a 1/8" pipe, and sends it to the governor. here it lubes the governor, maybe the mag/ distributor drive, and gears in the camshaft governor drive. I don't know the size, taking a fitting and what is left of the line to a good hardware store, or auto parts store should have you running again. I wouldn't run it for too long with out this line in place either.
