What is a WD worth

I have come across a Allis WD here in Wisconsin. The owner is asking $1,500 for it. Here is what I know about it. Please advise if it's worth the money.

1951 or '52 WD with a narrow front end, side belt pully, standard drawbar and 3 point, origional "flipper" seat, 6 volt, front tires around 80%, needs new rear tires (one tire has a 6" boot in it) new paint, sounds like a champ with no smoke and no chatter from the transmission, brakes feel to be in fair condition.

Thanks much,

Houndman

Sounds reasonable, offer him 1200 and go from there remember to check all things you can think of. spend a hour or two running it before buying.

I agree with $1200 offer. I have seen some really nice WD's with good rubber and good original paint for sale at less than $1500 and with snap coupler.

I would try for $1000 because of the poor rear tires. Other wise it sounds like you are getting a steal on the tractor! Good Luck! Tom Miller
