Help! I took my magneto out and don't know how to set it in.

How does the magneto on my Model B go back in, and how do I know it is not 180 degrees out with the engine? Is there any trick to getting it timed again?

Here's the way I do it, crank the motor until #1
piston is producing compression(finger in hole) to
top dead center and the timing mark(Fire, in hole
on left side flywheel). Next remove sm. cap and
turn the rotor till it lines up with the lug(left
top). The drive lugs(where it drives mag) should
be in the horizontal position and the mag can be
installed to the motor

It is probably obvious to most, but with the no 1 piston coming up on compresion and the "fire' mark sighted in the hole, your mag is pointed at the number 1 spark plug wire on the cap (or the top lug as mentioned above)
