I have a Leroy D226 engine that I use on our blower for filling silo. This engine seems to carbon up a lot lately. This is basicaly the same engine as a WD-45. It has a magneto. Our local AC dealer told us to use ac plugs (303) instead of champion J8C or use to be J8. These plugs would work better with the carbon which we have noticed imediatly, works better. Also the valves were adjusted to .020 instead of .012 as the book says. According to the ac dealer this would help. I was wondering if anything else would help? Any ideas would be apprediated. I also was wondering if a new carburetor would help or am I wasting my money?
