Just bought a D17 with a westendorf loader. It has a Gresen PTO hydraulic pump.I need to have the Pto available for baling, mowing etc.Would like to add a front mount pump -driven off the crankshaft on it .Where do I find the pieces(crank pulley adapter, shaft, coupler etc. )needed for this project??I won,t be using the Gresen pump as it is 540 Rpm but will use one rated for 2000rpm.

If your d-17 has four holes on the inside of the crank pully. Ford makes a hub that will bolt into the pully .They make three different lengths of shafts that will go through the front of your tractor. You will need to make your own mount for the pump itself. I have 1960 model d-17 with a ford industrial loader on and it works fine. I found after market ford parts are much easier to find than a.c.
