After spending time last week trying to help others with their tractors that stop, won't start, won't lift, guess what? My youngest daughters boy friend decides to use my WD45 to help me mow on Saturday. About 45 minutes later he walks up the lane and says the tractor quit running. Sure enough no spark from the spark plugs. Fuel systems ok. Primary ignition voltage system voltage ok. Mechanical systems ok. Dead coil. New NAPA/ECHLIN p/n IC64SB coil and she fires right up. I did put in new points -NAPA/ECHLIN p/n CS763A- and condenser -NAPA/ECHLIN p/n FA76- just for good measure. The coil is 12 volt with an internal resistor, the points are actually for the tractor, and I don't know what the condenser fits but it is 12 volt. And then.....
