I have a 1949 Allis Chalmers WD in working order. It has not been restored, but I've used it for hauling wood. Anyone have any idea how much it might be worth? I have someone who wants to buy it, but I don't know what to charge.

I'm with Dan on the prices if it runs and is basically complete and decent condition is will bring $1500 here in central Illinois. A really nice one will bring $2500. You can look at mine on my web page that I gave $1500 for to judge yours. John

I have been looking for an older tractor for some time the average price in southern MN has been 1000 to 1200 for running tractor with fair to good tires, but like I keep telling my wife it is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. I guess I would not take less than 1000 for it if it is in fair and running condition. Hard to replace at that price so if still have a use for it and still using I would hang on to it. Like selling a trailer kick yourself everytime I sure could have used one last weekeng.

The spread on WD's goes from junk -$400/$500 to nicely restored for $2500/$3000. I had a chance to buy a really nice one, not restored but in excellent working condition and nice paint and metal, for $1350. Price of tractor depends on a lot of little things together..... sheet metal condition, completeness of parts, running, etc.
