Wd45 keeps jumping out of 2nd and 3rd gear. What do you Ac fellows think is causing my problem and how big of a job is it to fix it? thanks once again , Mike

It is caused by wear in the gears and the knob on the bottom of the shift lever. What's happening is the shift lever is not pushing the gears together far enough. Putting some braze on the knob that pushes the forks around, is the fix. Also, if the socket in the shifting tower is worn to where you can lift up on the shift lever, put a second snap ring on top of the snap ring that holds the shift lever in. That will also hold the shift lever down when shifting, and help to push the forks farther for a better gear mesh.
