Jim,

I installed a Worksaver 3-point hitch on my 1950 Model B for about $525. You must have hydraulics and a drawbar to install this. Then I bought an over-running clutch for the PTO that converts the 1 1/8 inch PTO shaft on the tractor to the standard 1 3/8 inches. To that I attach a Landpride 5 foot finish mower. The combination works well for me and does a great job. The mower cost me about $1200 a couple of years ago.

Good Luck!

Good Luck

Jim,I don't know what you are looking to mow but without 3 pt hitch you may be limited to trailer type mower. I have been running a Woods 6ft belly mount on my B and I am very satisfied with its performance. The tractor lacks a little power if you are dealing with foot high grass though. But the cutting quality is acceptable for finished lawn. These machines cost around $2200. new with all the mounting hardware and most ag dealers can get you the woods product line. Hope this helps Chuck
