IB production records

I just bought AC IB #3397 and I can't seem to find a serial number list with ending serial numbers. This is a 1954 model, but I'm wondering how close it is to the end of production. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks.

Zack, the info I have indicates there was a total
IB production of 2850 units. I'll give you the
year and number of IBs for each starting in 1953.

1953---278 54---225 55---235 56---100 57--- 75 58---110

Thanks for the reply. All of the serial number lists that I have seen for IB tractors seem to have the starting serial numbers for the years 1946-1954. Why is this if they actually continued production through 1958? They only produced the regular B until 1957. What gives?

I have a 1950 IB (#1593.) I was once told that the first years of IB's were given plain B serial #'s. After 1946 they have IB numbers through 1954. My books do not mention IB's through 1958.
