I have an allis #2 2-bottom plow, like the one pictured in the implement gallery. Anyone know what it is worth. I am looking at selling it, and I don't know whether to charge $50 or $500.

I would appreciate the info.

Thanks,

Colin

Just saw several of them sell on a sale about two weeks ago. Averaged about $85. A three bottom went for $140. #4's go about 20% higher. If it is a 2-18, I would be interested in it. Measure across the top of the beams. from one beam directly across to the same side if the other beam.

Around here, an ordinary (rusty with so-so points) 2X pull plow will bring around $100 at auction if its complete and in working order. The scalpers ask around $300 for one in similar condition. Scarce models in V-good condition bring considerably more money. Like Dave said, a whole lot depends on where it is and condition.
