I have an narrow front B allis and wanted to know the production numbers and what it might be worth.

Actually both the B and C were 1 plow tractors, the CA was a 2 plow tractor. The B had the wide front because it was designed for 1 row cultivation, and the C was designed for 2 row cultivation.

the serial number is stamped by the transmission shift lever on top of case. like the other response said, it is probably a C, the B had wide front because it is made for a single plow setup. The C is a double plow. If it says B and is narrow, you probablly have a combination of parts. To the left of this page is "Serial Number" link that will tell you the year it was made.

You probably have a C, not a B. Look at the serial number and I bet it starts with a C.
