Help!
I have a 1947 Allis Model "C". I was running it to move some stuff today, and noticed that I was showing NO OIL PRESSURE! I honestly don't know if this problem developed suddenly or had been dropping slowly - it was good a couple of weeks ago. I dumped my load and parked it as soon as possible. I removed the gage and checked its operation with my air compressor - OK. I removed the line feeding the filter and gage, and ran the engine with the line removed. I got no oil flow, but I could feel some pulsation of air at the fitting. I pulled the pan, cleaned the pick-up screen. I did not remove the down tube, but it seemed like it was quite firmly attached. Pan back on, oil in, still no pressure indicated. Am I missing something? Please send any ideas or experiences that you have had with this problem.

The oil pump is driven by a pin the back of the cam. When I overhauled mine recently, the pin was worn almost to the point of failure. If you have to get the pump off, make sure this pin is OK before reassembly.

Randy I had a similar problem with my C a few years back. The oil pump had lost it's prime, I took a pump oil can an hooked it up to the oil line by the filter and pumped some 30 W oil back into the pump and like magic had oil pressure when I started her up again. Hope this will work for you, it is worth a try. good luck!
