How do you check transmission, pto, and differential fluid level?

Where are the plugs to check the fluid level in the trans., pto, and rear end? I have a WD 45. I know they all hold 17 quarts, but can only find the fill and drain plugs. Thanks

The fill plugs are where you check the levels. Counting the hydraulic fuild, there are three fills on the left side of the tractor transmission. The one closest to the engine with the dip stick is the hydraulic fluid (20 weight non-detergent oil by specs). It should be measures with the rams in full lift however be aware that filling this to max may cause leakage into the engine clutch area if the front seal is at all worn (a very common problem often mistaken for a leaky rear main on the engine). The next fill is a square plug and lubes the transmission and PTO. 90 weight is called for. The last fill on the left side is the differential and wet clutch, also 90 weight. I fill them both to within an inch of the plug opening. Both of these plugs are in cramped areas but using a 12 point socket makes it a snap.

Don't forget to check the lube for the rear wheels. Plugs on the inside of each rear wheel housing. 90 weight and fill untill it dribbles out the opening.
