Have a WD with 3-pt.hitch and I also have a front loader I want to put on. Is there any way when I'm raising and lowering the loader that the rear rams on the 3-pt. can be disabled? I noticed that the rear rams operate off of two outlets and there's one that is capped of on the regulator which I assume is the remote for the loader. I also have a rear scrape blade and want to be able to operate it with the loader staying raised at all times. I hope that was not too confusing; thanks.

Like Steve, I picked up a "selector" valve from my local Temco dealer for about $40. I rigged a lever on it, reachable from the tractor seat; forward: loader, rear: backblace. Works really nice!

you can do it either way. remember if you install new lever valves you are not going to use the present hydraulic lever. I assume you have one way hydraulics (the bucket will raise, but float down on its own weight- same with blade i assume). The simplest method is to use a "two way selector valve" Think of this as one spool with 1 input port. you have two output ports, one to the bucket cylinders and one to the rear cylinders. When you push the spool in your original lever valve works the bucket. When you pull the spool out your original lever works the rear cylinders. I mounted this "two way valve" under the seat on my "C". Yours will be slightly more complicated because you have to run the outlet hose to "two cylinders" on the front and the other port to "two" cylinders on the back. This method with the tow way selector works good on a system where you are working two seperate systems at different times. It would not work good with a bucket which has lift and dump cylinders. I had mine on a belly mower and rear blade. You dont use them at the same time. Call Surplus Center at 1-800-488-3407 and get a two way valve like 9-004 (1/2 inch ports) or 9-004A (3/4 inch ports). Cost $30-$40. If you have two way hydraulics (push pull) say so. It works the same but you need a diferent selector valve. If you want a picture schematic of how to plumb it up, just post again.

If I under stand you correctly you want to do two things at once. The only way I see that you can do this is with having lever operated shutoff valves on the loader and rear scraper. You would trap the oil in cylinders for the loader while you scraped with the rear. This would be an inexpensive way of doing it just 4 valves (probably) I would need to see a drawing or schematic of the hydraulics to be sure though. P.S. I have an engineering degree in Hydraulic system design and troubleshooting.

I use a valve purchased from Northern that sends the oil to the loader or the rear lift cylinders. I have not tried to switch the valve with the loader raised. I think you would need to change to a two valve set up to operate both.
