Short of putting a turbo and big carburetor on it, the C won't be anywhere near competitive against the heavier tractors in a 3200# modified class. Even hopped up, the tractor probably won't be balanced for the weight it carries and the HP it would produce; also, the traction would be limited by the fact that it has upright bull gears in the rear. That class is better suited to a WC. In my experience, B's and C's can do well in 2000# to 2600# classes, but success depends upon your competition; if your competition at 2600# includes stripped-to-the-bone Oliver 66's, that's pretty stiff.
