Billy, I don"t have the info with me today such as prices quoted or phone number, but, just call information for Schreveport, LA. and ask for the Buda engine co. These folks bought out the old Buda inventory lock stock and barrel. Their quotes were over 50% cheaper than Agco for the same nos parts. They are machining new sleeves from the original blue prints for around $63.00 per hole. Marty

this will be expensive. Allis parts will be over $2000 for everything. Other sources ,Felpro gaskets and seals $160. Sleeve set from say SPC $995 plus shipping. Bearings,head work will run another $300-400. This a difficult engine. It is very lightwieght as diesels go. Block and heads usually cracked requiring extensive repair. Proper deck hieght is essential to holding head gasket.This is accomplished by shimming sleeves or re-counter boring. Retorque of the head is required after bringing engine to operating temp. the rest is about the same as other engines.
