IB draw bar

Another IB question for anyone who might know-- what type of draw bar should an IB have? Mine has absolutely nothing at the moment and we are not sure what it should have. Thanks for any help you might have for me.

Jodie,
The IB had a pinto (I think it's spell wrong) type drawbar bolted to a plate.
The battery was mounted inside the left fender on top of the large channel frame. I seen an restored IB with the moved to the right side under the channeled frame just ahead of the brakes.
The best thing you can do is go to the left side of this page and click on tractor manuals, then go to the allis link and scrool to the IB parts manual (part no. AC-P-B,C) for $33.95
Thats a 191 pages of parts.
I sure use mind a lot. I need a lot of parts.

A pintle hook setup is what is used on some farm trucks. The tractor would have a round eyelet, about 3 inch diameter hole. The wagon it pulls would have a "C" clamp type horseshoe arrangement that would "pinch" into the eyelet.

OK Steve, I was relying on my memory and Lord knows thats getting worst by the second.
I'll dig up my parts book and double check the hitch on the IB.
