I have an old Allis Chalmers, that is not running. I would like to get her working, but don't know how. Is there a Allis chalmers page, that will help me to either rebuild the original way, or something to show me how to update it (with an alternator)?

Listen to Tom. Figure out what you have, clean the carburetor, chekc for spark, change the oil and get it started. Afterwards we can get you drawings of alternator updates, or original wiring with generator. Post a picture of the tracotr, or describe what it looks like, size of tires, etc and everyone will helpyou.

This is the page for you. A lot of experience and help here. The first thing for you to do is to figure out what model you have and the year etc. Then get a manual for it. King's books has reprints of factory manuals. They are at Po box 86 Radnor Ohio 43066-0086. Prices are reasonable. Check out this site for pictures to help you identify your tractor. And just check out this site. Keep us informed, someone will probably be able to answer your questions and help with any problems.

My neighbor bought an Allis-Chalmers tractor recently and he needs to know the year as he would like to get a manual for it if possible. The serial no. is WC 77084. Thank you.
