How many Horespower is a D10?

I am mostly a farmall guy, but I remember growing up we had a D10 that had once been used as a regular farm tractor but gotta belly mower put under it and retired to grass cutting tractor when we got a international 140, and I was just curious how big it was, I always remember it being stronger than the 140, but how much I am not sure. Thanks for the info, as I am currently looking for one and I wanted some more info on it.

John, the D10 and D12 were introduced in 1959 with a 138 ci engine based on the D14 (smaller bore). The 138 was rated at 28.56 PTO hp. At D10 SN3501 and D12 SN3001 (around 1961), both tractors were upgraded to the 149 ci engine. This engine was rated at approx 33.5 HP in the D10/12 and remained unchanged throughout production. The switchover occurred in the late Series I models. The Series II was introduced shortly thereafter with cosmetic upgrades. Series III appeared at SN9001. Optional three-point hitch was introduced with Series II and range transmission option with Series III.

I have a D12 Series III, SN 10010. In their class they are unequalled in power and versatility. Very nice little tractors.

It depends on what series it was. The later ones had more cubic inches, and a lot more PTO HP. Robert
