P-1, P-2, and Corporate. I assume that it's a linear progression. What are the dividing lines? OR, what tractors should be which color?

Wade, I'll give this a shot. AC used the orginal
persian orange up to 1960. It was changed, many
think, in reaction to Deere's "new generation"
models to make the AC brand look updated and more
brillant in the field. The persian orange 2 was
replaced around 1977 with the corporate orange
and trim colors of black and white. All three of those colors were used on tractors, part boxes,
advertising items, etc. till the end in 1985.
That's the story as I know it, maybe someone else
has other info.

So the D-series started as Persian and ended up in New Persian? And all D-19's would be the second Persian because of the 1961-1964 production run?

I believe the early D tractors were persian 1 with some black trim on the grill and orange
wheels with silver rings. In 1960 they switched to persian 2 with cream trim on the grill, wheels,
steering wheel and nameplates on the hood. All
D-19 models should be persian 2.
