Is my 180 worth fixing gears?

Hey all, any takers on the value of my 180 Diesel and whether or not I should replace 3/4th and possibly 1/2 gears? or let it go for B.O? Excellent engine,only used for haying, occasional plowing, sorry no engine hours, outdoor kept :(

Also any idea what all came package deal with the 1968 D14, all implements specific to that tractor, I have most of them but am wondering if I am missing any.

did you say 1968 d14? D14 as in allis chalmers d14?have one but not a '68. Didn't know there was such an animal. only years i have been able to find are from '57 to 60' i think.

Oops, typo, fingers got a head of me, I think she's a 1960 but Im not sure, it was my dads. I have ALL my farm equipment and no farm, so I figured I best let the 180 go but keep the D14...to much equipment to keep in the garage!!!!

really do like my d14. now if i only had 3ph and could find serial number so i could date the thing. only have a 2 bottom plow and an old jd bush hog i can use with it. but, i did save some 3point stuff i bought with another tractor that i sold.

Mel, I have a 175. It either has a blown head gasket, cracked block, or head. Whatever, I'm going to repair it. It might have to wait a while till the money is right. If I were to sell it, not only would I kick myself for the rest of my short life, but my wife would too. They don't make tractors like those any more. Fix it, Mel. Good luck.
