I was about to put my CA back together when i noticed oil leaking out of the bottom hole to the right of the hand clutch. It sat there all winter and did not leak anywhere before. I did have hand clutch repaired. Do you guys think maybe the seal from the shaft going from trans to clutch is leaking? If so when i unbolt the final drive case will the shaft pull out with clutch or will it stay? Differnt way to change or not it? Any help appreciated first time I have attempted.

If you have a repair manual, check it out in the manual. I think the leak is from the differential. the manual states to replace the seal at the differential if it is leaking, and is a good practice to do it each time the axle is removed. It also states that you must be careful to not damage this seal when you reinstall the axle. To got to this seal, drain the trans/differential housing, and unbolt the four bolts that hold the final drive housing to the differential. My brother in law just replaced them in his B, and he had no trouble doing it.
