on a 1948 "C" the hydulic pump on the rear by the pto how muh will it lift? thinking of a 3point hitch finish mower would that be to much for this tractor? was there much trouble with these pumps? i might look into ether trading or buying this tractor it was owened by my uncle now my brother has it he dont use it very much.

That shouldn't be a problem. I've lifted brush hogs and such with ours. Little systems with a lot of power. We have a 1.5 inch cylinder on ours and it doesn't run it dry. Good luck and have fun!

The pump is small and dont have much volume. It does put out 3000 psi so it will lift a rear implement if your leverage on the hookups are right. Do you have a cylinder? If you use one bigger than 1.5 inch bore you may run out of oil before it goes full stroke. Tracors came with 1 inch cylinders i think, but 1.5 works good if you get one of proper pressure rating.
