I know this has been on here before but I can't find the info. What brand / size of plug can I find these days to use in my '39 B? The parts stores don't understand what I am asking for from my manual.
Tom

Allis has always supplied Autolite 303 plugs & they still do. They work great. Bill

Tom, just tell them you need a plug that is in the same heat range, or even a little hotter, than the AC DELCO 45. I assume you have a magneto, so tell them that you need a non-resitor plug. I think I remember someone saying that the Autolite 295's were the same, but the auto partsstore should be able to look it up and cross it to another brand.

Frank, AC Delco no longer makes the non-resistor 45's, you can only get the R45's. If your running a mag, you need non-resistor plug's and solid core wires, or you will shorten the life of your mag. If you can still get the NR 45's, i'd say buy all they have because that will be all you get.
