I need a steering wheel for my 1941 C. also need a seat cushion. The serial numbers for my C says CE844G I guess that means its a 41 model. Wanting to get it painted if anyone knows the Dupont Color code Please let me know Thank You Tim

Tim, I think the number you have there is the engine number. Look just in front of the shifter, that is where the tractor number is. If that is the original engine, the tractor number will be close to the engine number, but will not be the same, as these engines where also used for power units and other applications. It's not a big deal, but it's nice to start with the right number. It's probably still a '41 model as they made quite a few in that year. There are serveral people selling aftermarket seats and steering wheels, but your C should have a smaller diameter steeing wheel than the D series. I believe the size you need is 15". Some places sell a 16" as a general replacement, so if you want the same size it came with, make sure you get the 15". Darrell

You can get a reproduction C steering wheel from Sandy Lake Implement for about $60. They are at 724-376-2489.
