Does anyone know if the 200s have the same problem as the 1XX series tractors popping out of gear?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike, when we rebuilt the trans on our '67 190 XT gas, we found used gears from a 200. They were all the same numbers and it works fine now. They're were a few subtle differences, but basically the same trans. BTW, our 190 has the updated rear end with the 4 pinion differential an larger diameter axles. Darrell

I was under the impression that A-C got that problem licked with the introduction of the 190XT Series III machines. I could be wrong, though.

I have a neighbor who had a 7000 and the reverse idler kept going out. He finally traded it for a bi-directional Ford. Around here a 7000 has poor resale value because of transmission trouble.

190XT and a 200 are about the same tractor with some changes. I saw a 200 at a sale last fall, popped out of 3rd and 4t
