Could anyone tell me if there is any chance of repairing a 1953 Allis Chalmers WD45 with milky crankcase oil. There is no apparent frost damage on the exterior of the motor block and initially, after sitting for several years, there was no water in the oil.

Rudy,
I can't remember if this was on a WD45 or B, but there is a freeze plug in the top of the head under the rocker arm shaft. This freeze plug can rust through and water then leaks into the oil. Check this first because it's cheaper and easier to fix than a head gasket.

Rudy, I had this happen to one of my WCs, after setting-up for a yearor two. The head gasket had failed between #2,and 3 cylinders.I don't know why.Replaced the gasket, no more milky oil. GL Dee
