Well, thanks to Bill @ Sandy Lake Implement and Steve on the board I have removed the pin. Now the only Problem is I can't pop the housing off the transmission! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to pound on it unless advised to do so by the experts. I have tried prying with a 4x4 to no avail. It is really tight!

Left an answer on your previous message. Try a sharp chisle like a wood chisel or wedge and drive in at a corner into the gasket and pry it open. Might have to work in several spots untill you find an easier spot to get the chisel started. Dont beat so hard that you break off a corner, but you can hit it pretty good.

Steve thanks for the suggestion! I will give it a try along with some other ideas from folks familiar with the problem. I have tabled the project for a couple of days in order to get some other equipment up and running,but I will keep you posted on the results of the fix.
