Fuel Line Question

I got my CA to run today without choke engaged,it still seems to be starving for fuel! what size fuel line is supposed to be on it ? Is there a vent hole of some sort on the carb? I can disconnect the fuel line before and after the fuel filter ,at the carb.and fuel will run out fast ,but when connected the fuel does not appear to flow like it is supposed to.The see through fuel filter does not fill up at all!!! still scratching my head!!! Thanks for all help! Larry

Larry,
Check the vent in the gas cap. This kept my B from running at all. Found that the PO had installed an unvented cap.

sounds like the needle valve above the float is plugged, or the float level is wrong.

Thanks Steve ,but the float is adjusted according to specs.,Maybe it needs more adjustment and not worry about specs.,what do you think?

Pull the plug or open the drain in the bottom of the carb and see how much fuel comes out there. This is after the float valve and filter and everything else. If you get good fuel flow there the problem is somewhere else. Like something plugging the passages in the carb.

good plan. if the bowl flows good, then the main jet is not picking up the fuel. it could be plugged.
