I need to replace rails and rollers on a 1949 HD5B crawler.
Looking for suppliers of these parts. Supplier names, addresses and phone numbers would be appreciated.
Would also welcome any information on performing this job.

Is the HD5 you have for sale. I have a 1953 HD5 that I am looking for rollers for. Also I am looking for another one to restore. I can be contacted at 704-538-6833.

My company (IMPCO) in Madisonville, Ky is an undercarriage supplier for most all crawlers. Many of the parts for ACs are getting hard to get but are available if you are presistant, in new or good used condition. If I can help call 800/531/5689 thx, Bob

Tracks and rollers are a very specialized business'. I can give you some leads in the Seattle area if that helps. If not contact an equipment dealer in your area, I'm sure they can give you the name of a track and roller after market dealer. HD-5/HD-6 used the same undercarries and there were about 50,000 of them built between 1946 and 1974 so parts should be available.

How close is this to HD7? I put better used rollers, new pins and bushings and built up the links

with welding on my HD7. Not a lot of parts laying around. The pins and bushings I used were for a

Case.
