I heard that a man by the name of Nobel Harris made some Inner-Coolers back in the day for tractor pulling. Does anyone know who this is and where I could get a hold of a Inner-Cooler made by him to fit a AC 426ci and/or 301ci motors.

I think I have posted this elsewhere but the late Nobel Harrison of H&R fame, Pittsfield, Ill., didn't 'make' an intercooler. He made an aluminum adaptor plate that would allow, via countersunk hardward, the AC factory 3750MarkII intercooler to bolt to the head of a 301C.I. engine aka 2800-2900. We had one but opted to later remove the aluminun adaptor and bolt a stock 426 intake to the intercooler and remount it up under the hood as the unit stuck out and to the rear too much for a stock appearing unit. Later ditched it for water injection unit. Harrison did also build a "P series" Bosch pump drive for the 2900, 3500 engine that was aluminum and utilized a toothed aka supercharger, belt drive complete with crank and pump pulleys. He also sold an almost stock twin disc clutch, hardened rods, big lines, injectors and the 'floating-head-roosa' rotary pump. A retired AC service rep. , Ed Elgin, (biggest hands on any man I have ever seen) assisted him.
