B clutch fork and yoke screw

The clutch yoke on my B has the hole for the yoke screw badly worn, especially on one side (the side where the clutch rod loads it, naturally). It's bad enough that I need to weld and drill it. The yoke screw also needs to be built up and resurfaced. My question is, what are these made of? They look like cast steel, and if they are, can I just use regular welding on them? I would braze them but this is the wear point and I don't want to be back in this in a few months.

The shifter fork pin has worn the shifter fork, worse on the clutch rod side. Interesting - my repair manual calls them by the names in my post above. It just proves that I need to get my photo scanner fired up next time! And here I thought I was being correct rather than just saying "dohickey"..

I thought I knew what you was talkin about, just wanted to be on the same page.
It is made out of steel. You could weld them up and it would last a long time or you could get different ones from a scrap yard. I put a clutch in one that they had welded a hex nut onto a bolt to make a new pin. Looked good and worked so I didn't replace it.

Welded her up and cut it back close to size. not the best job but ok considering what I started with. Sure do wish I had a lathe... Maybe next millenium. Thanks again Dick, you really come through for all us people with the "little guys".
