oil tube missing 52 CA that goes up in oil filter when filter is installed,where do I find one?Can it be made and how long should it be,what size tubing is it????

I think it is a 1/4 inch tube. The one on the WD I am working on is broken. I will be trying to make another with some tube I just happen to have. Weld up the end, drill to the size of the old one and press into the oil filter base. Maybe with some stud and bearing loctite. If you don't find one e mail me and maybe I can make two. I think they are the ame for all these tractors that take the same oil filter. WC, WD, WD-45, B, C, CA, and maybe others, oh like the D-17.
