I JUST GOT A AC DISC, ITS A 8 FT SNAP-COUPLER, IT HAS A CRANK ON THE FRONT BUT THERE IS NOTHING CONNECTED TO IT, I WAS WONDERING WHAT IT WAS FOR, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

the crank should level the disc from frnt to back.

The crank on the older disc's would pitch the blades (angle them) to cut into the dirt or straighten the discs(gangs) minimum or no cut so that the disc could be transported without cutting.

If it is like mine, the handle adjusts weight between front disc's and back disc's. Mine also, has a hydraulic cylinder behind it to put tires down for transport.
