I've rebuilt and cleaned my hydraulic pump for my C. Once i hook it up and replace the oil in the tranny. How do i bleed the air out of the lines and the and all that?... i'm new to hydraulics...

Bandit,
You might want to go ahead and replace the packing in those cylinders to prevent running that new oil out all over everything. It should be pretty inexpensive and available from several sources. It's called rope or cord packing. My RC needs some in the PTO gearbox right now, but no time while I'm looking for a job. :o(

'bandit', if you look at the end of each cylinder, where the piston comes out, you will see a nut. You fill the tractor, then turn on the PTO and engage the lift, and loosen the nut a couple of turns until you can here air coming out. Once you start getting oil out, instead of air, then tighten the nut until the oil stops. Not too tough, good luck, Darrell(MN)
