I JUST BOUGHT A D15 AND THE SERIAL# IS RUSTED OFF THE HOUSING, IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY I CAN FIND OUT THE YEAR?

I dont know of a fool proof way Dan, but I think they made a series I and series II. You know the tractor was only built for 7-8 years 1960-68? You might be able to narrow it down a little if you knew if it was series I or II. I think they changed about 1964. My fatherinlaw had a D17 built in 1963. He claimed the IV series in 1964 had two way hydraulics, power up and down, where his only had power up and float down. Dont know if the D15 was like this on the series change or not. Maybe this will jog one of the other guys memory.
