I just got my 1952 B unstuck. I can't afford to spend a lot on it right now. Does anyone know where I can get a set of rings or is there a set of car rings that will fit. Where can I order a gasket set? Thanks,

You might try looking at the list under parts and supplies in the upper left hand corner of this page.

I had an Allis with 3 3/8" pistons that needed oversize rings which I could not find. I bought a set of 3 1/2" rings through J C Whithey for a 1952 Chevy and hand fit them. Cost was under 10 bucks. The chevy set is for six pistons with three rings each and the Allis has four ring pistons. You end up with two extra oil rings. The oil rings are the hardest to hand fit, I did spoil the two extra getting four to fit.

Dennis, I get all my AC parts through my local Deere dealer. They can order almost anything through TISCO (they're TISCO repro. parts, not genuine AC, obviously, but they work.) Deere & Co. has purchased several tractor supply inventories over the past couple of years, helping guys like us keep our iron rolling through better availability of parts.
