Looking at a little Allis C tractor that runs well

I went and looked at this C yesterday, it runs well, no smoke etc. Thing really purs, I did notice it has the Hyd. pump but no cylinder, is this expensive, I would like to set this up to pull a 5 1/2 foot belly mower. I will also need to find a rear rim with continues beed, one of the rims has been welded but seems to be holding for now. How many horse power is the little C anyway, will it pull the belly mower? Thanks for the help[, sorry to keep bugging you guys. Thanks

The C will do what you want easily. It should have about 18-20 HP at the drawbar (they weren't rated at the PTO back then). The price sounds about right. The "bleeding" rim could be welded up and a new tube would then be needed to correct the leaking fluid. The only drawback or problem would be trying to mow steep ditchbanks or hillsides. These little tractors are easily rolled if you don't watch out. On flat ground, however, they are perfect!

A C can be made really wide and stable if you place the wheels and rims to do it.
