Does anyone know if there might be a market for
a WD-45 2 row corn picker. I've been looking on
the Internet off and on for a couple years and haven't seen anyone wanting to buy or even sell one. The picker hasn't been used in 30 years, but it has been kept in a barn.

Last summer and fall I remember seeing a guy advertise a WD45 with mounted Allis Picker in the photo ads department. He was asking about $2500 for it. I don't know if he was able to sell it or not.

Where you located? If it's for sale, then I would be interested.

The more unusual implements are becoming collectable, but I can't imagine that anyone would travel very far, or pay much for a mounted picker unless it would happen to be in like new condition. You might try a classified ad on this site. Good luck.

You could also ask on the Allis Chalmers.com board. I used a picker on a WD for many years and it was a good machine, probably find someone who would want it.
