I want to put a snowblower that weighs about 900 Lbs. on the back of my WD. Is the hydraulic lift capable of lifting this? Thanks Bill

The front is very light on my WD with 78" snowblower but boy do I have good traction with the blower up. I have to steer with brakes going up hill. One could put weights on the front.

I would say so. As a kid the WD45 we had on the farm where I worked had a bog harrow that the hydraulic system lifted. I would think it weighed more than 900 lbs. One had to be very careful when taking off with the harrow lifted not to pull to long a wheelie. There was veryn little weight on the front of that tractor, the hydraulic system was strong enough to balance the tractor on the rear wheels is my point.

We have a D-15 which weighs about the same and we haul the biggest rolls of hay you can roll off of the field with it. The secret is to get an old 80-r mowing frame to make you lift system out of. This lets the weight of the object you are lifting be applied directly to the back tires instead of on the back picking up your front end.
