I am a Farmall kind of guy with a chance to pick up what appears to be a D-14 High crop. I don't know much about A/C products. This tractor has 11.9X38 rears and 600X16 fronts with tall front spindles and reduction drop axles on the rear like a Farmall "A". Is this a true high crop, and are they at all scarse? If I do get it I will be seeking advise on parts etc. Thanks. Dennis in southern Ca.

dennis: I have a D-15 high crop,It seems that these style high crop tractors are rare but, in california you cant sell them.I have tried to sell mine for months and cannt get a fair price for it,I am located in N.california
My tractor is in good cond and needs very little to be a dependable working machine,so keep that in mind as you deal with the owner. One day you will want to sell it,and on the west coast
you wont get much, Ps Im only asking $1500 for a serries 2 D15 and it runs good.

Well theyare scarce in New England. I would say go for it. It sounds like a High Crop to me. They certainly aren't as common as the standard tractor and will be an interesting variation.
