I am getting a lot of phone calls and E-mails on this tractor... I am wondering if I should put it on the auction site of Allis chalmers.. Has any one else done this and if so, how do you do it?
Did you think it was worth it? Thanks

I asked my father what it would be worth. He paid $700 for a junked one(diesel) just to get the power steering and the wide front off it. He said most WD45 Diesels in average shape are $3000-$5000 and he heard of one really good one that sold for $8000. The WD45 Diesel tractor was one of the best ones they made, very reliable !

I paid $3100 for a set of them out of Missouri. One ran with many problems and the other didn't run but was complete. I made a very nice one out of the two...The heads are the weak point of them. They have a tendency to crack. Use a D17 exhaust manifold which will help relieve the heat on the back cylinders. I have a friend who has one that is not restored in Iowa but is very clean and original and he wants $5500 for it.
