Has anyone used the model B repro rear rims from Miller Tire? Curious if the quality and fit is OK.

Unless your trying to keep the B as it was from new, Farmall A rims will fit on your B. Farmall A rims are available from several places, including the CT Farm & Country stores. The Farmall A rim has four loops welded on the rim where they attach. The loop holes line up with the AC B Model hub holes. Hope this of some help to you.

I've heard about trouble with old style (bevel) rims. Apparently the bolts and clamps work themselves loose. Is this true? Which rims are the better choice?

I Dont know how the newer B's rims bolted on (did they go to the 4 bolt loop ?) but when I had to replace the wedge type rims on my 38 B I went to the 4 loop style. What I ran into was the cast wheel was too big and the bolt holes were 3/4 on the cast wheel and the largest that would fit through the loop was 5/8 (or 7/8 and 3/4 something like that). I found a newer parts C that the cast wheels were a bit smaller around and had the smaller bolt holes that the 4 loop rims fit on perfectly. My point is there seems to be 2 sizes of the cast wheels around. Dont get surprised like I did.

Miller is now supposed to have repro rims that use the original lugs instead of the four loop replacements. Norm, what are you asking for the used set?
