Hey, Have 2 questions here. I am about to purchase a D14 but have two concerns. First, does anyone know roughly how tall the tractor is from the ground to the top of the vertical exhaust pipe (rough estimate is fine). Secondly, does anyone know the weight of the tractor? What type of trailer would you recommend? I am thinking of renting a tandem trailer for it.

Thanks,
Chris Heiden

It is about 7' high to the top of the exhaust stack. A 7,000 lb GVW trailer with brakes should handle it. Some utility trailers are narrow and if the spin out rear wheels are in a wide position it can be troublesome. It is generally a good idea to at least use a 3/4 ton truck to pull that size load. Good luck and congradulations on the new tractor!
