Hello again, I was wondering about a price on a 1961 AC D14. It is fully restored. The engine was rebuilt and has less than 20 hours. It also has a rear mounted blade in good condition. All comments appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris Heiden

1960 was the last year they made D14's. Alot depends on: power steering, wide front, hitch, transmission, brakes, clutch, quality of paint job and overhaul. Assuming it is very good a ballpark price would be $4,000-$4,500. Unrestored in very good shape would be around $2,800-$3,200. Good Luck!

Okay thanks. Can you still get parts from AGCO Corporation for Allis Chalmers' tractors? I haven't checked their website in much detail. Is there any good site out on the Internet that stands out from the rest for AC info?

Thanks again,
Chris Heiden

I think the price advice they gave you is good providing it doesn't jump out of third gear. To have a dealer repair this, your $1600 to $2000. My brother just got a 14 with manual stearing that jumps out of 3rd for $600. Mine jumps out and I paid $1800, maybe a little much. If yours doesn't pop out of gear the prices are dead on!
