Can anybody tell me how wide the front rims on a 1934 WC are supposed to be? I've cut away what was left of the old rims and have new blank rims to weld to the spokes, but the narrowest blank rim I could find was a 5.5 inch. Is this too wide for a 6.00 tire? I have access to a lathe so I could part the rims in half, cut away an inch and weld them back together. How wide was a stock tire on a 34? I know it won't be original but I like to make it close. This tractor was parked on the edge of a timber over 20 years ago. Its now a real basket case on my shop floor.I got it from the original owner for free.He said it was one of the first rubber tired tractors in Whiteside County Illinois. c tucker

They original tire size was actually 5.50 17". I have a pair of original F&H 16" spoke rims off of a WC that I don't need. Talked to some collecting gurus and while they are not the original 17", I have been told that they were an available option through AC after 17" tires faded. Be glad to sell them. both are in good condition, can e-mail you pictures. At any rate, should be 5.50 by 16".

The rims on my 1937 WC measure 5".
This is not a spoke rim which is what
I believe you have. Usually the tire
is 1" wider than the rim.
