Congratulations on your purchase. I would say that you got a very good deal on your tractor. You have a 1934 WC. 201 cubic inch engine, making something like 23 horse. Your question of value is a tough one. You didn't say if the fenders were there, or what shape they were in. I don't want to take some of the fun out of your new purchase, but you are looking at some pretty big bills to fully restore it. A radiator is close to $200, the early WC's didn't have a grill, really, they did have a screen that runs about $50 or so. I really don't know what steel wheels cost, but I am thinking it's around $300 or so. Just to overhaul the engine will take between $200 to $800. If the engine is all there, that will help some. Sitting where it is, with good tin and some egine parts, it would be worth something like $200 or so, if you took it apart and sold the parts. A perfect restoration, with paint and all would make it worth $1,000 to $1,500. But, the big thing is, it can take well over $1,500 to get the tractor in that kind of shape. If it were mine, I'd save my money, have dad help, and make it run again. No fancy paint jobs, no flawless tin, just take the engine apart, have some fun with your dad, and make your WC run. The best part of the entire process, Lance, is the good times you can have and all you can learn making a tractor that is 55 years older than you are run again.
