Mounted A-C Cornpicker ?????

Recently saved a A-C picker from the salvage yards but am unable to locate any serial #'s or mdl #'s.. Any help on the how to of identifing would be appreciated. Also is there a site online where one can order equipment manuals

Dale, can you give us some more info, like 1 row or 2. Do you know what model tractor it fits? with this info someone should be able to tell you what the model # is.

The A-C picker is a two row mounted an was last mounted on a D-17. Can't find any numbers on the main unit of the picker , but not sure if they are stamped elsewhere on the unit. Last owner thought it might be a 260 or 270 model but wasn't sure.

it may have been a 17 picker which is similar to the picker used on the wc or wd. or it may be a 170 . the 170 is a taller and the corn goes from the snapping rolls up through the elevator that goes over the axle whereas the older 17 picker goes under the tractors rear axle. hope this helps some.=)
