There are two front bolts that look like they hold the front wheels to the main frame. It looks like they go right into the front of the oil pan reservoir. The reason I am asking is that we have an oil leak and it seems that these bolts are not tightening the way they should.

Jeremy. I just took a look at my C, which is totally disassembled. There are 4 bolts that fasten the front support assembly to the engine block. They thread into blind holes in the block, not through holes, and should tighten right up. Those bolts are also four of the bolts holding the timing cover and gasket in place. If they are loose a leak from the crankcase is definatly possible. If those bolts can't be tightened, I'd suspect stripped threads. Those are 5/8" bolts, pretty hefty to be stripped. Check to be sure you aren't tightening the two bolts at the "tips" of the support assembly.
